The 97th SIEC ISBE International Conference will be held in person from July 21 through July 24, 2026.
Conference Theme: Local Action, Global Impact, Business Education for a Cooperative World
The conference will begin on July 21 with welcome events and networking activities. The main professional development sessions will take place on July 22 and July 23, featuring keynote speakers, workshops, presentations in both the research and teaching tracks, a poster session, and a professional development panel. On July 24, participants will visit companies and participate in additional program activities to extend learning beyond the conference venue.
Professional networking and programs presented by SIEC ISBE members worldwide will provide attendees with the latest research and teaching practices to strengthen their professional development. SIEC ISBE is promoting a strong emphasis on current issues and trends in business education, especially artificial intelligence.
This call invites professionals to share research, expertise, and practices for others to learn, apply, and enhance their professional work. Please submit a proposal using the online submission form.
Access to the Internet and projection technology will be provided.

Presentation requirements:
- Addresses the conference theme or related topics relevant to business educators.
- Teaching Track--Sessions related to teaching and pedagogy for teachers at the secondary and post-secondary levels.
- Research Track--Sessions related to business education research by teachers at all levels, including secondary, post-secondary, and university teachers.
- Please specify which track you prefer in the submission information.
- 45-minute sessions with 10–15 minutes reserved for discussion.
- May be formatted as a round-table session from the same or different countries to present a project.
- Needs to address the conference theme.
- A 75-minute interactive session involving participants (for example, through activities or discussions).
- May be research- or practice-based.
- A poster from an educational institution may provide information about programs or projects.
- The topic must be of immediate interest to participants.
- 5–10 minute presentation per panellist (maximum of five panellists).
- Share information, opportunities, and challenges in teaching and learning, such as policy, regulations, legal issues, project ideas, AI, and potential collaborations.
- The audience will be able to ask questions and generate discussion.
All workshops, presentations, and research submissions must be submitted using a structured abstract format that includes:
- Introduction or Purpose
- Methodology or Approach (if applicable)
- Results, Outcomes, or Key Points
- Significance or Implications for Business Education

- Proposals will be blind peer-reviewed for content and quality.
- Priority will be given to proposals outlined below:
- follow the conference theme,
- are of potential interest to conference participants,
- proposed by well-qualified presenters,
- involve conference participants, and
- follow the guidelines.
- All presenters must be members of SIEC-ISBE.
- All presenters must register for and attend the 2026 SIEC-ISBE Conference in Amsterdam.
