2026 Conference Information
We are excited to announce that the 2026 SIEC International Conference will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Conference Theme: Local Action, Global Impact: Business Education for a Cooperative World.
Dates: July 21 - 24, 2026
July 21:
Welcome Reception 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. local time. Small bites/hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
July 22 and 23: Professional Development Sessions
Conference Venue will be IJver Amsterdam. Address: Scheepsbouwkade 72, 1033 WM, Amsterdam
There will be a few steps to climb to enter the venue location.
July 22--An evening boat tour will be an optional event, available at an additional cost, for attendees.
July 24: Professional Development Entrepreneurship Sessions (Visits to Companies)
Registration Information (registration will open March 16, 2026):
The conference venue and catering arrangements are being made. Once finalized, registration costs will be finalized.
Tentative Registration Information:
Members: 645 euros
Registration will include the welcome reception, all professional development sessions, company visits, gala dinner, lunches on July 22 - 24, and refreshment breaks on July 22 and 23.
Students: 325 euros
Registration will include the welcome reception, all professional development sessions, company visits, gala dinner, lunches on July 22 - 24, and refreshment breaks on July 22 and 23. Note: Proof of student status will be required.
Local Attendees: 325 euros
Registration will include all professional development sessions, company visits, the gala dinner, lunches on July 22 - 24, and refreshment breaks on July 22 and 23. (Only available for attendees from the Netherlands).
Social Package: 225 euros
Registration will include the welcome reception, company visits, and gala dinner. This package is for accompanying persons who do not attend the professional development sessions on July 22 and 23.
Hotel Information:
No conference hotel is being designated. Conference attendees may select to stay in the City Center and take a ferry to the conference venue or they can select a hotel near the conference venue and will need to take a ferry to the City Center for other activities. Multiple hotels at a variety of price ranges are available in Amsterdam.
The Call for Proposals will be posted soon. The deadline for proposals will be March 1, with a decision by March 15.
